Kronobergs Genealogiska Förening (KGF), started in 1982 and is a non-profit
association. It presently (2007) has over 1500 members.

Newsletter four times a year. Please note that the newsletter is written in Swedish.

Database
We are building a database containing birth, marriage and death information from the
parish records of Kronoberg county . Kronoberg has almost 100 parishes.
So far we have entered 1 400 000 records. We estimate that the database is >50% complete.

CD KGF Databas 2010
In november 2009 the new Database CD named CD KGF Databas 2010 were released.

The database is for sale on CD-ROM if you are a member of KGF. Please contact us for
further information, or if you live in the US please contact Phil Osén.

Searches
If you would like us to search the database for you, please give us facts about what you
are looking for, such as names, years, parishes, etc.

Please note the following:
- The database includes only the parishes of Kronoberg county in Småland.
- The database is not on the Internet.

If we find what you ask for, we request a payment of 50 SEK (Swedish kronor), plus
postage (the payment can be made with 10 International Reply Coupons). If we cannot
help you, it costs nothing! Abbreviations used in the database are F for Births; V for
Marriages; D for Deaths.
