Mejl till Nättidningen RÖTTER den 25 aug 1998 från Kathy Carlson: I have written an intensively researched book on the ancestors of the Carlsson/Nyberg/Gustafsson families (Gustafssons were from Småland and Nybergs were from Medelpad and Dalarna). There is a copy in the Blekinge Läns Museum in Karlskrona. This gives a history, not of the upper class, but of the poor sharecroppers who eked out a life before sending their children to the USA, one after the other.
